DER PSCHORR breathes the spirit of Joseph Pschorr, who set new standards in the art of brewery. He, for example, invented the first method of cooling beer two hundred years ago. In the winter he had long pieces of ice cut from the Isar River, and stored beer on top of it in deep vaults. His name still is an obligation for us today.
DER PSCHORR invites you to enjoy with your senses and palate. Visitors from all over the world, original characters of Munich, university students and business men meet at their regular tables for a chat, they clink glasses of fresh, cool Hacker-Pschorr Edelhell in the beer garden, they fortify themselves with a good, strong meal in the cool beer cellar or enjoy a delicious, several-course dinner in Theresia’s Hall. It is the ideal place for lively celebrations, but also for quiet relaxation.
